Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing is a Victorian based organisation that primarily supports the aged care sector address the needs of the elderly people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

 

Over the past 12 years the Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing has provided training, consultancy and translation services to the aged care sector. The Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing also supports ethnic communities to better understand the aged care services available in Australia.

 

The Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing is auspiced by Benetas.

 

The Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing receives funding from the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing through the Community Partners Program (CPP) and the Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care (PICAC) initiative. These programs aim to ensure the needs of older people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are identified and addressed. National Resources guide the delivery of culturally inclusive aged care services as well as link aged care services to most appropriate resources available.
