Save the Date - Cultural Diversity in Ageing Conference 2018
The Cultural Diversity in Ageing Conference 2018 will be held on Friday 15 June at the iconic Arts Centre Melbourne. This year’s theme, Setting Standards, showcases the latest range of initiatives that support inclusive practice in the aged care sector. The Conference provides a platform for aged care service managers and leaders to explore how they can work towards implementing organisation wide initiatives that ensure the needs of older people from diverse backgrounds are met.
The conference will feature presentations from the winners and finalists of the Cultural Diversity in Ageing Excellence Awards 2018. Winners will be announced at the Cultural Diversity in Ageing Excellence Awards dinner to be held on Thursday 14 June.
The conference is hosted by the Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing through Australian Government Department of Health, Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care (PICAC) funding.
