Free Training– 10am to 4pm Friday, 19th of November 2010, Carlton VIC
Following a day of consultation between ethno-specific and multicultural agencies and the palliative care sector, a free training workshop will be held on how to talk to your communities about palliative care. Palliative Care is important for many people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. There are many fears and myths in society about palliative care. Often people from non-English speaking backgrounds don’t understand what opportunities palliative care offers and how it can improve quality of life.
