The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has designed an activity for aged care services to undertake aimed at improving staff awareness of the need to deliver care and services that are individualized and culturally safe. This is in line with improving outcomes for consumers and treating consumers with dignity and respect as expected within the Aged Care Quality Standards.

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has released the Charter of Aged Care Rights Template for Signing in 18 languages. 

 My Aged Care has translated 18 flyers covering a range of information, such as Your pathway to accessing a Home Care Package and Steps to enter an aged care home, into 22 languages.

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has translated a short video for aged care consumers, their families and representatives, explaining what the Aged Care Quality Standards mean in practice.

The video is available in 25 languages.
