Spirituality in Aged Care Professional Development Program
Spiritual Health Victoria (formerly Healthcare Chaplaincy Council of Victoria Inc.) have developed a new education resource for aged care - the Spirituality in Aged Care Professional Development Program.
This program is an innovative education resource designed to assist aged care providers to better understand what is meant by spirituality and spiritual care, and to identify and respond to the spiritual needs of ageing residents and clients as part of their everyday practice.
The Spirituality in Aged Care Program is suitable for all aged care staff and volunteers and can be facilitated by a spiritual care professional from your facility or a Spiritual Health Victoria accredited facilitator. The 9 module program is divided into two parts and can be delivered as single sessions or in half and full day formats.
