NARI Innovation Grants
The National Ageing Research Institute has been awarded over $2million for 3 research projects that will support service innovation in aged and dementia care. The projects are diverse, and include the development of technology to enable people with dementia from CALD backgrounds to communicate easily, exploring how art centres in remote communities can link older people to services under consumer directed care, and trialling videoconferencing technology with interpreters for aged care assessments.
Acknowledgements
Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing acknowledges and pays respect to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, on whose land this website was developed. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their ancestors and elders, both past and present and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, sea and community. We hope our work contributes to the wider project of respect and recognition between cultures in Australia.
