Australian-Polish Community Services 'Building on Diversity' Conference
Wednesday 23rd June 2010, Darebin Arts & Entertainment Centre, Preston
This one day conference aims to bring together ethno-specific and multicultural organisations, relevant government departments and other stakeholders to showcase positive practices, strategies and collaborations in the provision of culturally and linguistically responsive services.
The conference also aims to share practical tools, experiences and expertise that may help to enhance the development of other services, particularly for smaller and less resourced groups who are finding it difficult to meet the new and emerging needs of their communities.

Acknowledgements
Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing acknowledges and pays respect to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, on whose land this website was developed. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their ancestors and elders, both past and present and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, sea and community. We hope our work contributes to the wider project of respect and recognition between cultures in Australia. Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing receives project funding from the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care to administer the Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care (PICAC) program in Victoria.
