Dementia and Community Care Conference 2013
Total Aged Services presents the 'Dementia and Community Care Conference 2013', which will be held on the 30th and 31st October at Caulfield Racecourse, Victoria.
2013 will be the first year for the Dementia and Community Care Conference, a major forum for CEOs, managers, senior clinicians, health care professionals, academics, researchers and other interested professionals and staff working with people with dementia in community care settings. The conference will focus on both policy and practice issues and aims to deliver sessions which have genuine relevance to both organisations and staff. The two-day event will feature a boutique trade display creating an excellent opportunity for professional networking and information sharing.
Ljubica Petrov from the Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing will be presenting on day 2 of the conference - she will be discussing 'The role of culture, ethnicity & language in understanding individuals’ needs'.
