Accredited training in pastoral care and ageing
A collaboration between leading providers is sponsoring an important initiative in local accredited training in pastoral care and ageing.
The Certificate IV in Pastoral Care and the Diploma of Ageing and Pastoral Care are nationally recognised qualifications appropriate for a wide range of people involved in pastoral and spiritual care, and is being sponsored by Baptcare, Benetas, Cabrini Health, Catholic Homes, Churches of Christ Community Care, Jewish Care, Mercy Health, Stirling College and Southern Cross Care (Vic).
The courses are suitable for people interested in pastoral care and ageing, pastoral carers from any faith background, those working or volunteering in faith communities, or working more generally in communities and in aged care.
A new program is commencing in February 2014 with a limited number of places still available. For more information, visit http://www.baptcare.org.au/work/pastoral-care-chaplaincy/Pages/Accredited-training-in-pastoral-care-and-ageing.aspx.
