Projects & Initiatives

The Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing hosts a number of projects and initiatives. We are involved in partnerships and collaborations within the cultural diversity and ageing sector nationally.

  • Cultural Diversity in Ageing Conference
    The Cultural Diversity in Ageing 2014 Conference will be held at the Melbourne Convention Centre on 12-13 June 2014 and will feature an exciting range of keynote, workshop and poster presentations addressing culturally inclusive aged care.

  • Cultural Diversity in Aged Care Expo
    Targeted at people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Melbourne, the Ageing in Australia: Cultural Diversity in Aged Care Expo aims to provide information about aged care and support services available in Australia.

  • Cultural Diversity in Ageing Partners Network
    The Cultural Diversity in Ageing Partners Network provides a forum and networking opportunity for representatives of organisations funded under the Aged Care Service Improvement Healthy Ageing Grants Fund.

  • Diversity in Ageing Leadership Initiative
    The Diversity in Ageing Leadership Initiative aims to harness and leverage the wealth of knowledge and experience across the aged care sector.

  • Partners in Culturally Appropriate Aged Care (PICAC)
    The Partners in Culturally Appropriate Aged Care (PICAC) Initiative aims to ensure that the needs of older people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are identified and addressed.
