Summary of Research Findings
Monash University has released a summary of findings of the Primary Health and Aged Care Translation and Interpreting Services (PRACTIS) study. The research aimed to evaluate the relationship between communication barriers and unplanned emergency department transfers for residents with limited English proficiency and explore residents’ experiences in communication with staff.
