Welcome Lisa Tribuzio
It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Lisa Tribuzio as the new Manager, Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing. Lisa brings 20 years' experience working in a range of sectors having held roles including Assistant Director for Inclusion strategies for the National Disability Insurance Agency and Diversity Advisor for the Hume Whittlesea Primary Care Partnership overseeing diversity planning and practice in Melbourne’s North Metro region for CHSP and HACC-PYP providers, She has also undertaken work in Egypt for the Centre for Intercultural Dialogue in Cairo.
Lisa said of her appointment, “I aim to actively listen, develop constructive relationships focusing on the needs of the community, and taping into empathy in a changing and overstretched aged care sector. Some of my key objectives in taking on this role are to build on the strong foundations already in place and to be proactive in creating new opportunities to journey together towards more inclusive and culturally safe practice and workplaces”.
