The Centre for Cultural Diversity In Ageing's Industry Breakfast

The Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing hosted an Industry Breakfast at the Islamic Museum of Australia on the 12th of December.

It was a fabulous opportunity for stakeholders to connect, network and learn more about The Centre’s work and culturally inclusive aged care.

 Highlights included:

A presentation by Monica O'Dwyer on current research on country of birth and language preferences of residents in Australian aged care facilities;
An interview about the Multilingual Communication Cards Co-design project with Karin Blavo at Belvedere Aged Care.

Attendees also had the opportunity to take part in a tour of the Islamic Museum of Australia.

We would like to thank all partners, supporters, and stakeholders in 2022 for advancing culturally inclusive care and the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care for its ongoing support of the Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care Program.
