Count Us In – Shaping Inclusive Communities Ballarat Expo
Ballarat Regional Multicultural Council in partnership with Alzheimer’s Australia VIC invite you to the free Community Expo “Count Us In – Shaping Inclusive Communities” to celebrate Dementia Awareness Month 2014 .
When: Thursday, 25th September, 10am-2pm
Where: GPLACE, 102 English Street, Golden Point 3350
The event will have a Multicultural emphasis, but with an open invitation to all members of the community. The aim of this Expo is to showcase healthy and active ageing in culturally inclusive and dementia-friendly communities. The day will be filled with a range of activities including Guest Speakers, Cooking Demonstrations, a Your Brain Matters Information Session, a Tai Chi Taste Session, Health Checks, Free Lunch and Entertainment. Community services and groups will also promote their services and programs to the community at interactive information stalls.
